As the prom lights dimmed, Meg Smith stepped on stage and cut through the thick air of anticipation. She played a personal favourite of mine, ‘you fake your british accent’, and had an amazing set. That thick air of anticipation built up again during changeover, and was yet again dissipated when Zolita walked on stage in her full prom queen outfit.
